Ocean Lounge Sailing Catamaran

The saloon is open-plan, and the Bali garage door lifts to bring the aft deck into it, so life below and life outside run together. Bali Catamarans built Ocean Lounge, a 55ft (17m) sailing catamaran, in 2022, and her galley is properly fitted out, with an oven, a fridge, a freezer and an ice maker.

On deck

The flybridge carries a lounge and a sunbathing area in the open air, the foredeck has sunpads of its own, and the aft deck is laid out for eating outdoors with easy access to the water. A swim platform takes care of the climb back aboard after a swim.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her: two Sea Scooters and two SUPs come aboard, so two paddlers can be out on the boards at the same time, along with a wakeboard, a kneeboard and snorkelling gear. A 30hp tender handles the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Santorini is her home port, and Greece is the extent of her cruising ground, with July and August the peak of her year in Greece.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests in a queen, three doubles and a twin, ten is her limit by day as well, and two crew run her.

Comfort under way

Under sail she settles at 9 knots and her top speed is 10. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi reach throughout, and a TV and Bluetooth sound system let guests put on their own music.

Charter notes

Ocean Lounge suits two couples travelling together or a family, and she can be taken by the week or as a hire of three days at the least, so a short stay is as workable as a full week aboard.
