About Libra

Five queen beds in five cabins give each pair of Libra's ten guests a full double bed. She is a Bali Catamarans sailing catamaran of 54ft (16m), built in 2024, and her main saloon has a garage door that opens the room directly onto the water. The forward deck saloon is entered straight from inside, with no step out on deck to reach it.

Water toys

Two paddleboards go with her, which puts two guests on the water at the same time, and a RIB tender with a 40 hp Yamaha outboard does the towing for water skis, a wakeboard, tubes and an inflatable sofa that carries two riders behind it. A floating mat gives swimmers somewhere to lie on the water, there is snorkelling equipment for looking beneath it, and a set of beach games goes ashore in the tender.

Where she cruises

Libra cruises Greece and nowhere else, from her home port at Santorini, and her peak months are July and August. The islands of Greece give her bays to anchor in and beaches for the tender to land on.

Accommodation and crew

Each of the five cabins has its own bathroom, and the ten she sleeps are also the ten she carries by day, so the party stays at ten by day and by night. A crew of three run her and live in quarters of their own, apart from the guest cabins, and all five cabins are for guests. Meals come out of a fully fitted galley with a dishwasher and a microwave.

Comfort under way

Libra cruises at 9 knots with a top speed of 10, and a generator keeps her air conditioning running away from shore power. A water maker turns seawater into fresh, which means the tanks do not decide how long she can stay out.

On deck

The flybridge has a lounge and a sunbathing area, a place to sit up high in the open and a place to lie flat, and the bow carries sunbeds of its own. The aft deck has a table for eating outside and gives directly onto the water for swimming, with a swim platform for getting in and out. Inside, a smart TV sits in the saloon and a Bluetooth sound system plays the guests' own music.

Charter notes

Libra suits two couples or a family of up to ten, and she is offered for a week's hire or for a shorter charter with a minimum of three days. As well as the water skis she carries a children's set, so the youngest of a family can be towed behind the tender too.
