About Time Superyacht

Two tenders travel with About Time, a 29ft Jupiter towed astern and a 19ft Aquasan, so two groups can leave her at the same moment and neither has to wait for a boat to come back. She is a 131ft (40m) Sunseeker superyacht built in 2010 and refitted in 2025, with a hull drawn by Don Shead.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers run at anchor as well as under way, so the roll is cut whether she is lying still or moving between grounds. Twin MTU diesels drive her semi-displacement GRP hull at a 19-knot cruise with 26 knots available, and that shortens a long stretch of open water.

On deck

There is a deck jacuzzi to sit in and sunpads to lie on, and there is dining on the sundeck and on the aft end of the bridge deck, so meals can be eaten in the open on either level. The main saloon has a balcony that lets the room open to the sea, a sky lounge gives a second sitting room, and the main deck aft and the foredeck add two more places in the air. A swim platform puts the water within a step.

Water toys

Nine kinds of toy come with her: two jet skis, two Sublue Navbow underwater scooters, two e-surf boards, two stand-up paddleboards, water skis, two wakeboards, a towable tube and snorkelling gear, with fishing rods for casting and trolling and a box of lures. Two Evercross electric scooters are for the shore, and yoga mats, exercise bands and Bowflex dumbbells mean a workout does not depend on finding a gym on land.

Where she cruises

About Time has her home port at Harbour Island in the Bahamas, and she works the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos, the USVI and the British Virgin Islands. Further out she reaches St Martin, St Barths, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda and the Grenadines, nine grounds in all, so she can stay close to home or range a long way from it.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, which is also her limit by day, with the stretch from December to March the busiest of her year. The master stateroom, the queen staterooms and the twin stateroom each have an en suite bathroom, and two pullman berths add sleeping places beyond the fixed beds. Eight crew run her for those twelve, so help is never far away.

Charter notes

About Time suits two couples as easily as a family of up to twelve. She is taken by the week, with three days the shortest hire she accepts, and she runs the whole year round, so the guests' calendar rather than hers sets the dates.
