Asani Superyacht

Two boats go ashore from Asani: a 40ft Technohull Alpha chase boat and, as her second tender, a 20ft Williams jet tender, so two groups can go ashore at once. She is a 164ft (50m) Benetti superyacht delivered in 2024, her lines drawn by RWD and her rooms by Bergman Design House.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers are of the zero-speed kind and carry on working once the anchor is down, which keeps the slow roll of a stopped hull to a minimum, and they do the same job on passage at her 12-knot cruise or at the 15 knots she can reach.

On deck

The main deck aft carries a glass-sided pool, and wings open out from it to widen the space around the water. Up on the sun deck a jacuzzi and an outdoor gym share the open air, and she carries an ice bath too, so a cold plunge is on offer as well as a hot soak. Asani's beach club puts guests at the waterline for a swim straight off the boat, an outdoor cinema lets a film be watched under the open sky, and underwater lights turn the sea around her hull bright.

Water toys

A dozen toys travel with her: two Seadoo Spark Trixx jet skis, so two can ride at once, two Seabob F5S, a Fliteboard, three paddleboards for three paddlers, a kayak, water skis, a wakeboard and a towable tube to be pulled behind, with inflatable toys and snorkelling gear to go over the side, and a golf set with its own floating green to aim at.

Where she cruises

Gustavia, on St Barths, is her home port. Her Caribbean grounds take in St Barths itself, St Martin, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines. Across the Mediterranean she works Monaco, France, Italy and Spain. Corsica's Lavezzi archipelago, a nature reserve whose beaches are left almost untouched, and Sardinia's Cala di Volpe, ringed by sandy beaches, are the kind of place she can lie off.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep ten guests, and by day she can take twelve aboard. The master has a king bed and the full width of her hull, and it opens onto a private balcony with its own shower, plus an office area. Two double cabins and two that switch between twin and double beds make up the rest, so the sleeping plan can be reset to suit the party.

Charter notes

Asani suits a family or two couples, and she can be taken for hire by the week or as a three-day charter, her busiest stretches falling in December, January and February and again in June, July and August. Twelve crew look after her guests, more than a single crew member to each, and for a family or two couples that ratio is what the week rests on.
