Wabash Superyacht

Refitted in 2026, Wabash carries a water slide, e-foil boards and scuba gear, toys that put her guests into the water rather than beside it. She is a 132ft (40m) Benetti superyacht, built in 2018, and in her main saloon the glass runs floor to ceiling where bulkheads would normally stand, letting the light reach an interior of warm, soft tones lifted by burnt orange, her owner's nod to Texas.

On deck

Outdoor life on Wabash gathers on the sundeck, where a bar stands midships and a table is laid for dining in the open, with a second exterior dining area aft on the bridge deck. The after end of the sundeck is a wide, flat space and forward a small seating nook sits apart from the rest, while on the foredeck a jacuzzi and sunpads make a terrace of their own. At the stern the transom folds down into a beach club, a platform at the water's edge that puts the sea within a step.

Water toys

A 37ft Valhalla tender follows her on a tow line, rigged out for fishing, and she carries fishing, spearfishing and lobster gear to go with it. A Wave Runner, two Seabobs, Jet Surf boards and the e-foils are aboard too, along with two stand-up paddleboards, a wakeboard and towables for pulling behind, while snorkelling gear and a beach setup travel with her and two drones film from above.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Monte Carlo in Monaco. From there she covers the coasts of Monaco and France, and across the Atlantic the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands. St Martin, St Barths and Anguilla complete her grounds, island waters that give her fishing tender and her snorkelling gear their reason to be aboard.

Accommodation and crew

Twelve guests sleep aboard across six cabins, four fitted with double beds and two with twin berths, and by day she takes the same twelve. The master suite spans the full beam of the main deck and comes with its own study and en suites laid out his and hers, with a steam shower and a sauna among them. A crew of seven looks after the party, which works out at more than a crew member for every two guests.

Comfort under way

Her hull is a displacement form in GRP and her stabilisers work both under way and at anchor, taking the roll out at her 11-knot cruise as much as when she lies stopped, and her busiest weeks fall in December, January, February and March and again in July and August.

Charter notes

Wabash is offered for charter by the week, and she suits two couples or a family whose idea of a good hire is time in the water rather than time on a quay. For divers, the scuba gear is backed by her own dive compressor, and dives are arranged on a rendezvous basis, so the diving kit comes with her from anchorage to anchorage.
