Sail La Vie Power Catamaran
About Sail La Vie
A water slide sends swimmers off the deck of Sail La Vie and into the sea, and floating mats lie out on the water beside her for anyone who would rather stay on the surface. She is a 52ft (16m) power catamaran from Leopard Catamarans, built in 2016 and refitted in 2026.
Water toys
Two paddleboards let a pair head off together, and a kayak gives a quieter way to poke along a shoreline. Snorkelling gear and fishing tackle are kept aboard, and a beach tender carries guests ashore.
Where she cruises
Sail La Vie's home port is Phuket and she cruises in Thailand, her peak months running from December through March.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins, each with a double bed and air conditioning, sleep eight guests overnight, and for a day on the water she can take 30. A crew of three runs her and looks after the guests, so nobody aboard needs to think about the boat.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 12 knots with 15 knots at the top end, and her two hulls give her a wide, level platform, settled at anchor as much as on the move.
Charter notes
Sail La Vie suits a family or a group of friends with swimming and fishing at the centre of their days aboard, and half-day, day and three-day hires also make her an option for a larger party in Thailand.
