Prada Power Catamaran

A water slide that drops straight into the sea is where any account of Prada has to start, because it says what she is for: a day on the water with a large party, up to twenty guests aboard at a time. She is a 50ft (15m) Aquila power catamaran, built in 2025.

Comfort under way

Two hulls give her a level, steady platform, and she cruises at 18 knots with 24 knots in reserve, so the miles to wherever the day is headed pass quickly and the party is in the water sooner.

On deck

Her swim platform puts guests a step from the sea, and the interior is air-conditioned, so there is a cool space to come back into, with Wi-Fi aboard for anyone who needs to stay reachable.

Water toys

Two stand-up paddleboards mean two guests can be paddling at the same time, and she carries fishing and snorkelling gear for those who would rather be in the water than on it. A jet ski and a Seabob can be added to the day as extras, which gives a party of this size more than a single way of getting wet.

Where she cruises

Prada keeps her home port at Phuket and cruises only Thailand, and it is in Thailand that December and the first three months of the year make up her peak.

Accommodation and crew

Overnight she is a boat for two, with a single double cabin and a crew of three to look after them, which is more crew than guests.

Charter notes

Prada suits a couple who want her to themselves overnight and room for a party by day, and she is offered as a day charter or a half day, so the hire can match the length of the plan.
