New FP Sailing Catamaran

Fishing gear comes aboard New FP, so guests can fish as well as swim. Fountaine Pajot built this 44ft (13m) sailing catamaran in 2018.

Water toys

Two SUP boards let a pair paddle off at the same time, and snorkelling gear opens up what lies under the surface for anyone getting in. Floating noodles travel with her too, easy buoyancy for guests who would rather stay put in the water than swim anywhere.

Where she cruises

New FP works Aruba and Curacao from her home port at Oranjestad, which gives guests two coastlines to swim and anchor off rather than a single stretch of shore.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take six guests overnight, and three queen beds are part of the layout. A crew of two runs her, a small enough team to know a party of six well and enough hands to leave guests free of the boat's work.

Comfort under way

Under sail she settles at 10 knots, with 12 her top speed. Wi-Fi keeps everyone in touch and the air conditioning cools the cabins, and she is in service year-round, her peak running from December into March.

Charter notes

New FP suits a family or a group of friends who want their days built around swimming, paddling and the sailing itself. Day and half-day hire is offered as well, taking as many as fifteen aboard, which makes room for more people than she sleeps.
