Son De Mar Motor Sailer

Son De Mar carries a jacuzzi out on her deck, warm water in the open air rather than in a cabin below. She is a 148ft (45m) motor sailer, Turkish Gulet built and completed in 2019.

Comfort under way

She holds 9 knots as her cruising pace and has 19 knots at the top of her range, so a coastal leg can be taken gently or pressed along when it suits.

On deck

Her swim platform lies right at the waterline, which makes the sea a step down and a step back up.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with Son De Mar: a Wave Runner for a rider at a time, SUP boards to paddle standing up, water skis and a wakeboard, towable inflatables to be pulled along behind, and masks and fins for snorkelling. A beach tender handles the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is on the Turkish Riviera, and her cruising stays within Turkey, with July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, and a crew of seven looks after them. Air conditioning cools the cabins and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat, so anyone who needs to stay in contact can.

Charter notes

Son De Mar suits two couples travelling together or a family, and eighteen can be aboard for a day on the water. Bookings run by the week, with three-day and single-day hire available as well, which leaves a family the choice between a full week in Turkey and a shorter stretch of the same coast.
