De Love Motor Sailer
About De Love
De Love carries her jacuzzi up on the flybridge, in the open air with the sea on every side, so the top of the boat is where guests sit in warm water. She is a 154ft (47m) motor sailer from Custom Made, launched in July 2024.
Accommodation and crew
Seven double cabins sleep fourteen guests, made up with a king bed, two queens and four doubles, and she takes the same fourteen by day, so the group aboard is the same size at anchor in the afternoon as it is overnight. A crew of seven look after them, which on a fourteen-guest boat is a crew member for every two guests.
Comfort under way
Two Volvo main engines give her a cruising speed of ten knots with fifteen at the top, and her rig gives the crew sail to set as well, so she is not tied to her engines for every passage between anchorages.
On deck
Her beam of 10m shows in the width of her decks, and a swim platform gives a step straight down into the sea and an easy way back aboard after a swim.
Water toys
Two jet skis travel with her, so two riders can be out on the water together, and two paddleboards and two kayaks offer a slower way over it under paddle power. Water skis and a wakeboard go behind a tender, and she carries two beach tenders, so a run ashore and a tow can happen at the same time. Snorkelling gear is aboard for anybody who wants to look below the surface, and further toys can be arranged on request.
Where she cruises
Bodrum, in Turkey, is De Love's home port, and she works the waters of Turkey and Greece, so a week aboard can be spent along the coast of either country.
Charter notes
De Love suits a large family or a group of friends who want to travel together as fourteen, and she is for hire by the week, with July and August the months at the height of her year. For an event she can take sixty guests aboard, so a celebration can bring aboard far more people than her cabins sleep.
