Alani Motor Yacht

Alani carries a water slide, so getting into the sea can be a quick business rather than a careful descent of the steps. Sunseeker built this 79ft (24m) motor yacht in 2003 and drew her exterior lines in-house, and she was refitted in 2017.

Where she cruises

Her home port is the Whitsundays, in Australia. She also cruises New Zealand, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Fiji, so guests can stay close to Australia or head well out into the South Pacific.

Accommodation and crew

Three air-conditioned cabins take six guests overnight. Three crew run her, which leaves the boat handling with them.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 22 knots and will do 28, so an anchorage further along the coast stays within reach.

On deck

Her swim platform puts guests at water level instead of partway down a ladder, and there is Wi-Fi aboard for anyone who needs to stay reachable.

Water toys

SUP boards are aboard for paddling around an anchorage, snorkelling gear comes with her for the shallows, and a beach tender runs guests ashore.

Charter notes

She makes a straightforward charter for a family or for friends travelling together, her peak months being January, February and December, and as a rental she has a useful extra: twelve can be aboard by day, so the group on the water can be larger than the group sleeping aboard.
