WW Motor Yacht

Among the kit WW carries is an E-foil, with a jet ski beside it, so the water around her can be covered under power as well as swum. She is an 86ft (26m) motor yacht from Johnson Yachts, built in 2007 and refitted in 2022.

Accommodation and crew

Overnight she takes eight guests across four air-conditioned cabins, king beds in two of them and queens in the others, while by day the number aboard can reach twelve. Three crew run her, a small team for eight, and service stays personal at that ratio.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers work under way and at zero speed, which cuts the roll whether she is moving or lying still. She cruises at 10 knots and holds 23 in reserve when there is ground to cover.

On deck

An exterior bar keeps the pouring and the glasses in the open air rather than below.

Water toys

An 18ft Southern Pacific tender handles the runs ashore, and water skis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard are aboard for towed runs. Two SUP boards and two kayaks put a pair of paddlers out at a time, and there are rods for fishing and gear for snorkelling.

Where she cruises

Auckland is her home port and she cruises New Zealand, December, January and February being her peak months.

Charter notes

WW suits a family or a group of friends who would rather be in the water than looking at it, and she is taken by the week or as a three-day hire. With the tender and the toys already aboard, getting afloat is easy work along the New Zealand coast.
