Take 5 Superyacht
About Take 5
A water slide is the first of thirteen toys that travel with Take 5, and it sets the tone for the rest of what she carries for the water. She is a 131ft (40m) Sunseeker superyacht built in 2016, with the yard behind both her exterior and her interior.
On deck
Her beach club puts guests at the water, and a swim platform makes the step in and out an easy matter. A deck jacuzzi gives a warm soak in the open air.
Water toys
A Seadoo jet ski takes a single rider out at speed and a Seabob goes into the water alongside it. SUP boards and a kayak are the slower way to move, paddled rather than driven, while a wakeboard, a kneeboard and a towable tube are there for being pulled along on a line. Inflatable toys float alongside, and she is set up for fishing and snorkelling, so the water around her is something to look into as much as to sit beside. A beach tender takes guests ashore.
Where she cruises
Panama City is her home port, and Take 5 works Panama, Costa Rica and Belize, which gives a guest three countries' coasts to choose between.
Accommodation and crew
A king cabin, two doubles and two twins make up her five cabins, sleeping ten guests overnight, and by day she has room for twelve. Eight crew look after them, with December and the first three months of the year her peak.
Comfort under way
Zero speed stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, so the roll is taken out of her whether she is moving or lying still. She cruises at 12 knots and reaches 22, which keeps the passages between her cruising grounds short.
Charter notes
Take 5 suits two couples or a family sharing her ten berths, and she can be hired for a week's charter or for three days. For divers she carries scuba diving equipment among her toys, so a dive begins straight from the yacht.
