Blue Diamond Superyacht

A large inflatable slide travels with Blue Diamond, so the drop from her deck into the sea can be taken at a rush rather than by a jump. She is a 112ft (34m) Sanlorenzo superyacht of the SD112 series, delivered in 2017 and refitted in 2026, with Francesco Paszkowski behind both her lines and her rooms.

Water toys

The rest of the kit centres on a 16ft Williams jet tender, which tows the waterskis, the wakeboard and the inflatable sea biscuit and takes guests ashore. Her jet skis, a BRP Spark and a GTR-X, come as a pair, as do the Seabobs, so both machines of each kind can be in the water together. Two paddleboards let a couple paddle away from the yacht, there is snorkelling gear for what lies under the surface and fishing gear for a line over the side. All of it stows in her aft garage and goes in and out over a large swim platform, so the sea is a step away.

Where she cruises

Rhodes, in Greece, is the home port of Blue Diamond, and she operates across Greece and Turkey. Among the Greek places she can reach, Folegandros in the Cyclades sets a cliff-top Chora above wild coves and Mykonos pairs a whitewashed town with lively nights, so there are coves to anchor in for the toys and towns to go ashore to.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep in five staterooms, all of them en suite: a king bed in the full-beam master, a double in each of the two VIP cabins and two single beds in each of the two twins. The master is forward on the main deck with a dressing area, a walk-in wardrobe and his-and-hers basins, while the VIPs sit amidships on the lower deck and the twins are below as well, each with its own shower. Air conditioning is set cabin by cabin, so each stateroom keeps the temperature its occupants choose, and a crew of seven looks after the ten.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 10 knots with 15 in hand when a passage needs shortening, she was built with long-range cruising in mind, and the months she is busiest are July and August.

On deck

The flybridge carries her Jacuzzi, sunbathing space, an exterior bar and dining under shade, so drinks and meals can both be had in the open, and the main deck aft has its own place for meals looking over the water. Fold-down balconies open on either side of the main saloon, letting light and air through the interior and bringing the sea close to the room at anchor.

Charter notes

Blue Diamond suits two couples, with the master and the VIP doubles between them, or a family; her hire runs by the week or for a shorter stay. For a family, the two twin cabins each carry a pullman berth, which takes her to 12 sleeping on a charter and means the party need not stop at ten.
