Saffuriya Superyacht

A beach club puts Saffuriya's guests at the level of the water rather than above it, so going for a swim is a matter of stepping off. She is a 123ft (37m) Peri Yachts superyacht, built in 2011 and refitted in 2023.

Water toys

Eight toys travel with her. Her single jet ski takes one rider at a time, she carries a Seabob as well, water skis, a wakeboard and towables are there for anyone who wants pulling across the water, and inflatable toys and snorkelling gear round out the count, the gear for seeing what lies under the surface. An 18ft tender carries guests ashore and back.

Where she cruises

Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is her home port, and a hire of Saffuriya starts from there. From Dubai she works the waters of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, and she goes as far as the Maldives, five countries to choose between from a single base.

Accommodation and crew

Five cabins sleep twelve guests – a king cabin, two doubles and two twins, with two pullman berths completing the count – and a crew of seven looks after them.

Comfort under way

Saffuriya carries stabilisers that steady her while she lies at anchor and keep working once she is moving, so there is less of her motion to feel whether she is stopped or covering ground at her 16-knot cruise. She has 20 knots in hand for when a passage needs to be shorter.

On deck

A jacuzzi on deck gives her guests a soak in the open air, and a swim platform gives swimmers a flat, low step off her and an easy way back aboard.

Charter notes

Saffuriya suits two couples sharing her or a family, with her peak months falling in November and December and the three that open the year. Her charter terms run to a week, three days or a single day, and while her cabins hold the overnight party, thirty can join her by day and fifty for an event, so a gathering that outgrows her berths still has a place aboard.
