Searex Superyacht

A water slide, a 65ft Dive Dhoni tender rigged for diving and eight full sets of dive gear put the water at the centre of a week aboard Searex.

Comfort under way

Built in 2018 and refitted in 2023, this 125ft (38m) Tropical Adventure superyacht settles into a 10-knot cruise with 14 knots in hand, and her interior is air-conditioned throughout and carries Wi-Fi.

On deck

Her deck jacuzzi is open to the air, and there is deck space to spread out – sun mattresses across the foredeck, a sundeck with panoramic views, and an aft deck laid for dining, with a barbecue, a wet bar and a bimini for shade. Two stairways lead down from the aft deck to an extra-large swim platform, which puts the sea within a few steps. Spa and massage treatments can be arranged.

Water toys

Fourteen toys travel with her: two jet skis, so two riders can go out together, towables and inflatables to be pulled behind a tender, a kayak and a SUP board for quieter paddling, water skis, a wakeboard and a windsurfer, plus fishing and snorkelling kit. A 20ft tender handles the trips ashore.

Where she cruises

Male is her home port, and she cruises the Maldives and the Seychelles, both Indian Ocean waters, with diving and water sports gear meant for Maldives water.

Accommodation and crew

Eight cabins sleep sixteen guests overnight – December, January, February and March are her peak months – and thirty can be aboard by day. The crew of fourteen is local and experienced, which on a sixteen-guest yacht means close to a crew member for each guest.

Charter notes

Searex suits a large family or a group of friends with divers among them, and hire runs by the week or for three days, so a short trip works as well as a full charter week.
