How much does a yacht charter in the Maldives cost?
Charter pricing has a reputation for being deliberately opaque. It is not, once you know the four things you are actually paying for. What Sets the Price in the Maldives
- Where charters board
Charters in the Maldives board at Malé City Marina, Hulhumalé Marina, Velana International Airport Marina (Hulhulé), and nights alongside are paid out of the APA rather than billed on top of the charter fee.
- Getting to the boat
The long-haul airport is Velana International Airport, Malé (MLE), 10–15 min by boat to Malé City Marina, and transfers are arranged by the crew rather than included in the charter fee.

The charter season in the Maldives runs Nov – Apr, the peak weeks are Dec – Mar, and summer sea temperature is around 28–30°C. The northeast monsoon brings mirror-flat lagoons and the season's best visibility – manta and whale-shark encounters included.
