Smile Motor Yacht

Among the six toys aboard Smile are a Seabob F5S and a Waverunner jet ski, which is enough for a rider to head out beyond the anchorage. A refit in 2024 brought this 92ft (27m) Mangusta motor yacht, launched in 2006, back up to date.

Where she cruises

Male is her home port and the Maldives her cruising ground, with December, January, February and March her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

She has four cabins, three of them with double beds and the fourth a twin. Nine guests stay overnight, and for a day out she can carry twelve. A crew of four runs her, which leaves the cooking, the tender and the cabins in someone else's hands.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and holds 34 at the top end, so a change of anchorage need not take up much of the day.

On deck

A swim platform lets guests step straight down into the sea, while air conditioning and Wi-Fi aboard keep the indoor hours comfortable and connected.

Water toys

A 12ft Williams Jet tender takes guests ashore. A towable donut and a towable sofa come out for rides across the water, a SUP board for paddling at a gentler pace, and snorkelling gear for swimming off the boat.

Charter notes

Smile suits couples travelling together or a family, up to nine sleeping aboard, and she is available to hire by the week or for three days, so a short trip through the Maldives works as well as a longer stay.
