Atoll Villa Motor Yacht

Diving is laid on to order aboard Atoll Villa, dive equipment and a dive boat included, and her private chef cooks à la carte to what each guest asks for. Maldives Boat Yard built her in 2024, an 84ft (26m) motor yacht on three decks with an exterior handcrafted after the old sultans' boats.

Water toys

Two paddleboards and a kayak travel with her for paddling away from her side, along with fishing gear and snorkelling equipment, and a tender with a 90hp engine takes guests ashore. On request she adds a Seabob, a jetski, a wakeboard, water skis and towables, a three-person sofa among them, and for a family there is a PlayStation, a chess set and games meant for children.

Where she cruises

Male is her home port and the Maldives her water, Male Atoll and Vaavu Atoll the two atolls she covers as standard with others arranged on request, and December and January her peak months. Between them these atolls give sandbanks to land on, local islands to visit, different spots to snorkel and water where sharks can be spotted.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep across her four cabins, three of which carry a double bed while the last has twins that make up into a double, and the master suite comes with a sitting room and a private deck with a lounge of its own. Any room can be turned into a lounge, an office or a dining room instead, so a couple or a party of four gets more living space than sleeping space, and by day she takes eighteen. Four crew look after her, a captain and the chef among them, which on eight guests is a crew member to every two; welcome drinks, three meals a day, a barbecue and a Sultan-night dinner are part of the service, and the massage chair is there for unlimited use.

Comfort under way

A Yamaha inboard diesel gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots with 14 knots at most, using 70 litres of fuel an hour, and solar-powered generators supply her electricity.

On deck

The four-person spa jacuzzi on the master's private deck is lit with fibre optics, and the decks carry an outdoor cinema, a DJ sound system with its own lights, ambient lighting and a grill for films, music and cooking in the open air. From her swim platform guests step straight into the sea. Curtains, lights and televisions answer to Alexa voice control or to a manual switch, and inside the style is minimalist European in beige tones, with the main deck room made over as a lounge.

Charter notes

Atoll Villa suits a family or a group of friends who want their diving arranged and their meals cooked to order, and a week's hire is not the only way to have her: her charter runs by the half day, the day, three days or the week. For a day on the water she carries eighteen, so friends beyond the eight who sleep aboard can join her for the day.
