About Ela

A 2026 refit left Ela with a newly equipped gym in the lower guest quarters, a sauna beside it and an upgraded audio-visual system, all inside an interior by Cristiano Gatto whose open-plan main saloon and floor-to-ceiling windows let her volume show. She is a 164ft (50m) Heesen superyacht, delivered in 2021.

Water toys

Two Seadoo jet skis and two Seabob F5s put two riders on each at a time, and a single e-foil, two Jobe paddleboards, water skis, a wakeboard, an inflatable pyramid with two slides and snorkelling kit fill out the ten toys she carries. Two Schiller bikes travel with her for time ashore, where a 23ft Castoldi tender lands guests from the anchorage.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Monte Carlo in Monaco. From there Ela works Monaco's own coast and those of France, Italy and Spain, and crosses to Malta, five countries of Mediterranean shore with harbours to lie in and bays to anchor off.

Accommodation and crew

Six staterooms sleep twelve guests, in a king, three doubles and two twins, each with its own en suite and a spare, uncluttered finish, and twelve is also her limit by day. The primary cabin is forward on the main deck, its large windows filling it with daylight. Ten crew look after those twelve, so the count stays close to a crew member for each guest.

Comfort under way

MTU engines give her 20 knots at her top speed and a 12-knot cruise, with July and August the height of her season. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her steady at anchor as well as under way, so a night in a bay passes with little roll.

On deck

The sundeck holds a jacuzzi for six and a cold plunge, loungers, shaded seating and a bar faced in onyx that changes colour, with two coffee tables that rise and join into a single table, and after dark the outdoor cinema brings film nights out under the sky. The beach club has loungers of its own and opens straight onto the water, which puts the toys a step from the sea.

Charter notes

Ela suits two couples who each want a proper stateroom, or a family taking all six, and she is available for hire by the week or for three days at minimum, the shortest yacht charter she takes. For a family the hydraulic swim platform is the fact worth holding onto: it lowers into the sea with rails all round, so swimmers of any confidence enter the water inside a guarded space rather than off an open edge.
