About Ela
Interior design is the first thing you notice aboard Ela: curved lines and contrasting textures replace straight joinery throughout, the work of designer Cristiano Gatto. Heesen delivered her in 2021, and a 2026 refit brings her current condition up to date. Ela is offered through Boatcrowd from Monaco, and she also sails in our charter fleet.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht in the displacement style, fifty metres long, 164 feet, with a beam of 9.09 metres and a draft of 2.16 metres. A refit completed in 2026 means the newest work aboard Ela is current rather than years behind a buyer's survey.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across six cabins: the owner's suite sits on the main deck, and five cabins below include a full-beam VIP alongside two doubles and two twins. A crew of ten looks after them, close to one crew member per guest, the kind of ratio that keeps a full table attended without anyone waiting. On deck, a beach club opens astern to the water, and the sundeck carries a jacuzzi.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines, each rated at 1,448 horsepower, give Ela a cruising speed of twelve knots and a top speed of twenty knots. Those figures belong to a displacement hull built to cover distance steadily rather than plane across it, trading outright pace for a smoother, quieter ride underway.
Where she lies and how to see her
Ela lies in Monaco. We arrange each viewing and come aboard with you, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before anything is final. She is also part of our charter fleet, cruising Monaco, France, Italy, Malta and Spain, so a buyer who wants time aboard before deciding can charter her first.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
