Ariela Motor Yacht

Her stabilisers run while she is moving, not only once the anchor is down, so the roll that a passage between bays would otherwise bring is taken out of the day before it starts. Ariela is a 131ft (40m) CRN motor yacht built in 2004.

On deck

The jacuzzi is out on deck, a hot soak taken in the open air, and the swim platform makes getting into the sea a step down rather than a climb over the rail.

Water toys

Ariela carries two tenders, a 26ft Brig and a 13ft Grand, so a trip ashore does not have to wait for a single boat to come back. Her two Seabobs let two guests ride at a time and her two paddleboards do the same at their own pace; the water skis, wakeboard and kneeboard are all for towing, two floating mats are there to lie on in the water, and fishing and snorkelling gear brings her toy count to ten.

Where she cruises

Marmaris in Turkey is her home port, and she works the waters of both Turkey and Greece, so a stay aboard is not confined to a single country's coast.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, and the crew of six who look after them work out at one crew member for every two guests aboard.

Comfort under way

Refitted in 2022, she cruises at 12 knots and can make 20 when a longer leg needs shortening, and July and August are the height of her season.

Charter notes

Ariela suits two couples or a family taking a week's hire, and by day she can carry twenty, so a party larger than her overnight list can be on board for a day on the water.
