Princess Melda Motor Yacht

A water slide gives the quickest way off Princess Melda and into the sea, and she backs it with two tenders, a speed boat of 140 HP and a second of 90 HP, so two boats can be away from her side at the same moment. She was built in 2022 as a Custom Made motor yacht of 137ft (42m).

Comfort under way

She cruises at 25 knots and will reach 34, which makes the distance between two stopping places a small part of the decision about where to go next. Her stabilisers are of the kind that keep working when she has no way on as well as when she is moving, and the effect is a hull that resists rolling whether she lies stopped or is pressing on at speed.

On deck

The jacuzzi is out on deck, a warm soak taken in the open air, and her swim platform brings the waterline within a step, a gentler way into the sea than the slide offers.

Water toys

Twelve toys travel with her. A jet ski takes a single rider and a Seabob a single swimmer, two SUP boards put two paddlers out at once and a kayak adds another, while the water skis and the wakeboard are there to be towed. Windsurfing gear, fishing tackle and snorkelling equipment complete the twelve, so there is a way onto the water that needs no engine at all.

Where she cruises

Princess Melda has her home port at Bodrum in Turkey, and she is offered for hire across Turkey and Greece, so a week can hold to the Turkish coast or take in Greek waters as well.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep twelve guests, and the same twelve is her limit by day, so the people aboard at anchor are the people who sleep aboard. Six crew look after them, a crew member for every two guests.

Charter notes

Princess Melda is chartered by the week, with July and August her peak, and she suits two couples sharing her or a family large enough to fill her. Every cabin is a double, so each guest sleeps in a full-sized bed and nobody is put on a bunk or a pullman.
