Tropa Motor Yacht

Two tenders travel with Tropa, a 32ft Intrepid chase boat and a Castoldi jet tender. She is a 106ft (32m) motor yacht from Cantiere Delle Marche, delivered in 2022, her interior by Francesco Guida and her exterior drawn by Hydro Tec.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers steady her at anchor as well as under way, so there is less roll either way, and her explorer build takes her to remote coastlines on twin Caterpillar engines that give 11 knots in cruise and 13 at maximum.

On deck

The sundeck carries a mosaic-tiled jacuzzi, a bar, a barbecue and shaded seating for dining in the open air. Her aft deck and extended swim platform work as both a sportfishing cockpit and a lounge at the waterline.

Water toys

Two jet skis mean two riders at a time, and with them come two Sublue underwater scooters, two flight boards, two paddleboards, towables, a wakeboard and water skis in adult and children's sizes. Snorkelling gear, fishing tackle and a BOTE hangout water hammock pool also come aboard.

Where she cruises

Tropa's home port is Simpson Bay in St Martin, and she cruises to St Barths, Anguilla and St Kitts and Nevis. She also works the British and US Virgin Islands, the Grenadines and the Bahamas.

Accommodation and crew

Six cabins sleep ten guests, and twelve can be aboard for a day on the water. The upper-deck master takes her full beam, while the VIP and the other cabins sit on the lower deck. A crew of six runs her, fewer than two guests to each crew member.

Charter notes

Tropa suits a family or two couples who plan their days around the water, and she can be taken for a week-long charter or a three-day hire. Four sets of dive gear come aboard, enough for three guests to dive with a crew buddy, and she is rigged for rendezvous diving.
