Gorgeous Motor Yacht

Gorgeous holds 23 knots as her cruising speed with 28 knots at the top end, and she burns 400 litres an hour doing it, so an anchorage further along the coast stays an easy choice rather than a long haul. She is a 74ft (22m) Canados motor yacht, built in 2004 and given a refit in 2021, her exterior lines drawn by the same yard that built her.

On deck

Her swim platform makes getting into the sea and back out again a single step instead of a climb, and she is air-conditioned throughout, with Wi-Fi aboard.

Water toys

Nine toys travel with her, enough to keep a whole group busy in the water: a Seadoo jet ski, a Jetsurf, two Seabobs, two pairs of water skis and two towable donuts, plus a SUP board and a kayak for quieter paddling and snorkelling gear for the shallows. A 12ft Avon tender handles the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Lefkada is her home port, and her cruising stays within Greece, with July and August her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep ten guests: a king, two queens and a twin, with two pullman berths. A crew of three runs the yacht, the cooking and the tender, so the group aboard is looked after without a large staff underfoot.

Charter notes

Gorgeous suits two couples travelling together or a family, up to ten overnight, and she also takes twelve for a day on the water. For a charter in Greece with a fast passage between bays and the toys ready when she stops, she covers the week without fuss.
