Aladdin Sane Motor Yacht

Two tenders go ashore from Aladdin Sane, a Williams SportJet 395 and a three-seat Highfield UL260, so two parties can leave for the shore at the same time rather than wait on a single boat. Alberto Mancini shaped her outside and Salvagni Architetti fitted out her interior, and she is an 85ft (26m) Azimut motor yacht built in 2024.

On deck

The jacuzzi sits on her sundeck, and a 55″ LG OLED screen up there carries the television outdoors. A lounge on the bow and the aft end of her main deck add further places to sit in the open air, so the group is not confined to a single spot outside, and from her swim platform the water is an easy step down.

Water toys

Two Seabob F5s go in the water with her, so two people can be out on them at once, and a three-seat Jobe towable lets three be pulled together. A Jobe wakeboard rides alongside two sets of trainer waterskis, sized for children and for adults, so the younger members of a family can learn on skis made for them. A two-seat kayak and a stand-up paddleboard cover the quieter, paddled side of the water, and snorkelling equipment gives a look below the surface, with Jobe life vests carried too.

Where she cruises

Santorini, in Greece, is the home port of Aladdin Sane, and Greece is her whole cruising ground, with her peak weeks falling in July and August.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep aboard in five cabins, every cabin with its own bathroom. The master suite spans the full beam of the main deck behind panoramic windows, the two VIP suites each carry a 45″ LG OLED screen, and of the two twin staterooms a single cabin can be made up as a double and the other has a pullman berth, each with a 25″ LG OLED screen. The crew numbers four against eight guests, so each crew member has two guests to look after.

Comfort under way

Twin MAN V12 engines push her to a 22-knot cruise and 29 knots at most, and zero-speed stabilisers work while she is stopped as well as moving, so she rolls less at anchor.

Charter notes

Aladdin Sane suits a family, or friends travelling as a group, who are booking a week or a three-day charter; a hire of either length sleeps eight, and twelve can be aboard by day, so friends who are not staying the night can still spend the day aboard.
