Pier Pressure Motor Yacht

A hammock, a beach tent, two umbrellas, folding chairs and tables and a portable barbecue travel with Pier Pressure, so a plain stretch of sand comes with shade and somewhere to sit. She is an 88ft (27m) Azimut motor yacht from 2020.

On deck

The flybridge is open to the air and has a full bar, and the alfresco areas give room to eat outside or lie in the sun, with a generous main salon to come back into. Her swim platform gives a low, easy way in and out of the sea.

Water toys

A 14 ft Williams tender takes guests ashore, and two Seabobs travel with quick chargers and a selfie camera. A pair of inflatable paddleboards puts two people on the water at the same time, while rods and snorkelling gear are already aboard, so nobody needs to pack their own.

Where she cruises

Pier Pressure keeps her home port at Exuma in the Bahamas, and she cruises the wider Bahamas and the USA.

Accommodation and crew

Five en-suite cabins sleep eight guests, the master suite looking out over the water. Four crew run her, a crew member for every two guests, and she is air-conditioned throughout, with Wi-Fi and Apple TV.

Comfort under way

Twin MAN V12 engines give her a 14-knot cruise and 18 knots at full speed, which covers the distance between anchorages quickly.

Charter notes

Pier Pressure suits a family or a group of friends, and a charter runs by the week, though she can also be hired for a minimum of three days – January, February, March and December are her peak months. For a day on the water twelve can be aboard, which makes room for more of the group than sleep aboard.
