1Lorena Motor Yacht

Two Seabob sea scooters and two paddleboards go into the water from the hydraulic swim platform of 1Lorena, which lowers to sea level for swimmers and toys alike, and a beach club keeps the sea within a step of the deck for a party of eight. She is a 2026 Sunseeker 90 Ocean, a motor yacht of 90ft (27m), and floor-to-ceiling windows fill her saloon with daylight and the view outside.

Accommodation and crew

Four staterooms sleep eight guests: a full-beam master amidships with a king-size bed and its own lounge corner, a VIP forward beneath the helm station with a queen bed and a private staircase down to it, a second queen cabin, and a twin whose beds convert into a double so the fourth cabin takes either two single sleepers or a couple. A crew of five looks after the eight of them.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers work with the yacht stopped as well as moving, so the roll of an anchorage is damped before it reaches the cabins, and under way she cruises at 12 knots with 27 knots in hand when a passage needs shortening.

On deck

Her flybridge is large enough to be laid out in more than one way, with a dining area, lounge seating and a wet bar under a retractable awning that turns the deck from sun to shade at a press of a button. On the aft deck the chairs swivel to face astern, the bow lounge forward carries sunpads and seating of its own, and a single stereo system plays inside and out, so the same music reaches the saloon and the open air.

Water toys

The Seabobs mean two riders at a time and the stand-up paddleboards take another two out across the surface, while towable toys give the party a faster ride behind the boat. Snorkelling gear and fishing gear travel with her, an inflatable lounge and floaties are there for lying in the water rather than swimming through it, and a tender takes the group ashore.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Fort Lauderdale in the USA, with a second base at Nassau, and she cruises the USA, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. In the Bahamas the Exumas are islands and cays with coral reefs for the snorkelling gear, hidden anchorages that only a boat can get into and the swimming pigs the Exumas are known for, while Nassau itself gives clear water, beaches and a lively waterfront.

Charter notes

1Lorena suits a family or a set of friends numbering no more than eight, and her peak falls in December, then January to March, then May to August. She is taken by the week or as a three-day hire, and with eight her limit by day as well as overnight, the guests who sleep aboard are her whole company in daylight too.
