A yacht that already earns her keep on charter is the safer kind of purchase: a buyer can step aboard for a paid week before committing to anything more. Pier Pressure does exactly that. Built by Azimut in 2020 and refitted in 2023, she runs Bahamas charters out of Exuma and is now offered for sale through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
She is a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, 27 metres in length with a beam of 6.6 metres and a draught of 1.9 metres, and at 145 gross tons. She was delivered in 2020 and refitted in 2023, work already completed rather than promised for later. Her interiors are credited to Achille Salvagni, and the source describes an owner's suite that runs the full beam of the main deck, finished with a marble bathroom.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across five cabins, with four crew aboard to run the boat and look after them. The source describes a mix of double and twin cabins and crew passages kept apart from guest areas, so service happens without guests seeing the mechanics of it. An open-plan salon with a drop-down television sits at the centre of the main deck living space.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN engines give her a 14-knot cruise and an 18-knot top speed, figures suited to hopping between the Exuma cays rather than crossing an ocean. Stabilisers hold her steady at anchor, which matters more on a boat built for a string of overnight stops than one built for long passages.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a BBQ and the swim platform turn the outdoor spaces into where the days actually happen, and paddleboards and diving equipment aboard give a Bahamas week something to do between anchorages. A convertible cabin adds flexibility for families without changing the five-cabin count.

Pier Pressure lies in the Bahamas, chartering out of Exuma across both the Bahamas and the wider US season. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
