Koh Lipe Itineraries: Multi-Day Yacht Charter Routes
Due to its southern location, Koh Lipe is best incorporated into multi-day Andaman charters. These itineraries combine the journey south with exploration of the Tarutao National Marine Park’s incredible islands.
3-Day Koh Lipe and Tarutao Explorer
Day 1: Phi Phi to Koh Lipe
A full day of adventure cruising from the central Andaman southward. Enjoy the yacht en route – lounge on deck, watch for dolphins, try some fishing. Stop at Hin Daeng for a mid-voyage dive if conditions allow (manta rays, barracudas, vibrant soft corals). Arrive at Koh Lipe around sunset, anchoring off Pattaya Beach or Sunset Beach for a spectacular sky.
Day 2: Koh Lipe and Surrounding Islands
Full day enjoying the natural beauty of Koh Lipe and the Tarutao islands. Morning snorkelling at Jabang (soft corals) and the rocky point off Koh Adang (neon fish and coral bommies). Gourmet picnic on uninhabited Koh Rawi under palm trees. Afternoon hike on Koh Adang to the waterfall and panoramic viewpoint. Beachcomb the black pebbles of Koh Hin Ngam. Optional Walking Street visit for local flavour. Stargazing from the deck in near-zero light pollution.
Day 3: Koh Lipe to Koh Lanta or Return North
Morning swim and farewell to the Tarutao islands. Cruise north toward Koh Lanta or onward to Phuket with island stops en route. Enjoy the passage with lunch on deck and a final swim at a hidden cove before continuing your journey.
5-Day Southern Andaman Voyage (Phi Phi to Koh Lipe and Back)
Day 1: Phuket to Phi Phi Islands
Board at Phuket and cruise to the Phi Phi Islands. Maya Bay in the morning light, Pileh Lagoon for a swim, and Bamboo Island for afternoon snorkelling. Anchor off Phi Phi Don for the night.
Day 2: Phi Phi to Koh Lipe
The long southern passage. Stop at Hin Daeng for diving if conditions allow. Arrive at Koh Lipe for sunset and a memorable evening anchored in turquoise waters.
Day 3: Koh Lipe and Tarutao Exploration
Snorkelling at Koh Adang and Koh Rang Nok. Gourmet picnic on Koh Rawi. Hike Koh Adang’s viewpoint trail. Kayak the mangrove shallows of Tarutao. Evening on deck under the stars.
Day 4: Koh Lipe to Koh Rok and Koh Lanta
Cruise north via Koh Rok’s stunning reefs – some of the best snorkelling in southern Thailand. Beach time on Koh Rok’s white sand. Continue to Koh Lanta for a relaxed shore evening.
Day 5: Koh Lanta to Phuket
Final morning swim, then a passage back to Phuket with stops at Koh Haa (natural swimming pool) and the Racha Islands. Arrive at the marina by late afternoon.
Koh Lipe as Part of the 10-Day Grand Andaman Loop
For the ultimate Thailand experience, Koh Lipe is incorporated into the 10-Day Grand Andaman Loop itinerary (see Thailand Itineraries section). This positions Koh Lipe on Days 4–5, between the Phi Phi Islands heading south and the return north via the Racha Islands, Similans, and Surins. It is the most comprehensive way to experience Thailand’s entire Andaman coastline in a single charter.
