Koh Lipe’s cruising ground is the Tarutao National Marine Park – 50-plus islands spread across 1,490 km² of protected Andaman Sea. The itineraries below cover different territory, so a 3-day and 4-day route combine into a full week of frontier Andaman exploration without repetition.

Cruise across the channel to Koh Adang for a morning hike to the island’s panoramic viewpoint overlooking Koh Lipe and the surrounding archipelago. Continue to Koh Rawi for afternoon snorkelling over pristine coral and a secluded beach lunch. Return to Koh Lipe for a sunset on Sunset Beach.
A full-day excursion to Koh Tarutao, the largest island in the park. Kayak through mangrove channels, explore the island’s WWII-era prison camp history, and swim off deserted beaches. Your chef serves lunch on the aft deck as the yacht anchors in a sheltered bay on Tarutao’s western shore.
A dedicated dive day at the Lighthouse South Tip pinnacle – a submerged formation dropping 50+ metres, with its shallowest point at 12–14 metres. Two dives with a surface interval on a quiet Tarutao beach. Afternoon snorkel at a nearby reef before returning to Koh Lipe.

Board your yacht at the Koh Lipe anchorage by mid-morning. Cross the channel to Koh Adang for a hike to the viewpoint, then continue to Koh Rawi for an afternoon of snorkelling over pristine coral gardens and a swim off a white-sand beach that you may well have entirely to yourself. Overnight anchorage in the sheltered channel between Koh Lipe and Koh Adang.
Cruise south to the Lighthouse South Tip pinnacle for a morning dive on one of southern Thailand’s most exciting sites. Continue to the smaller islands of the Adang group – Koh Hin Ngam (the black-stone beach) and Koh Dong – for afternoon snorkelling and exploration. Your crew sets up a beach barbecue on a deserted island as the sun sets.
Cruise east to Koh Tarutao for a morning exploring its mangrove channels by kayak and its jungle trails on foot. Swim off the western beaches, then farewell lunch on the aft deck as the yacht returns to Koh Lipe by late afternoon.

For guests arriving from the north (Phuket or Koh Lanta), the first day anchors at Koh Rok – twin islands with some of the Andaman’s healthiest coral reefs and white-sand beaches in a marine park setting. Snorkel the reef, swim from the beach, and enjoy a long lunch on the aft deck before continuing south toward Koh Lipe.
Arrive at Koh Lipe and anchor in the channel between Koh Lipe and Koh Adang. Explore Koh Adang’s viewpoint hike and secluded beaches in the afternoon. Evening ashore on Koh Lipe’s Sunset Beach for dinner at a beachfront restaurant with views across the water to Koh Adang.
A day of exploration among the western islands. Morning snorkel at Koh Rawi’s reefs, visit Koh Hin Ngam’s striking black-stone beach, then dive the Lighthouse South Tip pinnacle in the afternoon. Overnight at a secluded anchorage among the outer islands.
Cruise to Koh Tarutao for a morning of mangrove kayaking and jungle exploration. Farewell lunch on the aft deck, then begin the return passage north toward Koh Lanta and Phuket – or, for guests departing via Malaysia, a short crossing to Langkawi.
Guests with more time can combine the 3-day and 4-day routes for a full week of Tarutao exploration, covering every major island, dive site and anchorage in the park.
For the ultimate Thailand experience, Koh Lipe is incorporated into the 10-Day Grand Andaman Loop itinerary (see Thailand Itineraries section). This positions Koh Lipe on Days 4–5, between the Phi Phi Islands heading south and the return north via the Racha Islands, Similans, and Surins. It is the most comprehensive way to experience Thailand’s entire Andaman coastline in a single charter.
