Cloud Dancer Sailing Catamaran

The exterior of Cloud Dancer came from VPLP Design, and the boat beneath it is a Lagoon, a 42ft (13m) sailing catamaran launched in 2018.

Comfort under way

She sails at 8 knots, with 10 knots at the top of her range. Air conditioning runs through the cabins and there is Wi-Fi on board, which means a week away from home does not have to be a week out of contact.

Water toys

Paddleboards and a kayak let guests push off from the boat under their own power, snorkelling gear puts them in the water over whatever lies below, and there is fishing tackle aboard for anybody who wants a line out. A beach tender takes people ashore where there is no dock to tie up to.

Where she cruises

Cloud Dancer keeps her home port at Koh Lipe in Thailand, and Thailand is the whole of her cruising ground; she sails all year, her peak running from December through March.

Accommodation and crew

Eight guests sleep in four cabins, with two crew aboard to sail her and look after them.

Charter notes

Cloud Dancer suits a family, or friends travelling as a group. She can also be hired for a single day, when up to 12 can be aboard, which makes room for a larger party than she sleeps.
