Azure 5 Power Catamaran

Not many yachts on the charter market carry a water slide, and Azure 5 has one, giving swimmers a fast way off the boat and into the sea. She is a 53ft (17m) power catamaran built by Xinlong Yachts in 2016, and only two boats from that yard are in the fleet.

Where she cruises

Phuket is her home port, and all of her cruising is done in Thailand, in every month of the year, with December, January, February and March the peak of it.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of four runs her, and by day she can carry as many as 55 people, so a large group need not split itself up.

Comfort under way

Her two hulls give her a wide, level platform, and she cruises at 18 knots with 23 knots there when she wants them.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her, and they cover most of what people want from flat water: paddleboards and a kayak for going off quietly under your own power, inflatable toys and snorkelling gear for the swimmers, and fishing tackle for anyone who would rather put a line in. Her beach tender handles the trips ashore.
