Vivi Luxury Catamaran

A wingfoil travels with Vivi, wind power for a guest on a board, and she carries a gym as well, so training does not have to stop for a week afloat. She is a 60ft (18m) luxury catamaran from Sunreef Yachts, built in 2024.

Where she cruises

Tortola is her home port, and from it the British Virgin Islands are the first water a week aboard her takes in. She works the USVI as well, and St Martin, St Barths and Anguilla, with Antigua and Barbuda and St Kitts and Nevis also within her range. St Lucia, the Grenadines, the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos complete the list, and there as in the British Virgin Islands a stop means a beach to land on or a bay to anchor in.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep eight guests, so every guest overnight has a proper double, and by day she can have twelve aboard. Three crew look after them, with her peak stretching from December to March.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 9 knots and has 11 in reserve, an unhurried pace, and on two hulls she holds it level.

On deck

A swim platform makes the step into the water short, a bimini keeps shade over the outdoor space, and a barbecue means a meal can be cooked in the open air.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with Vivi. Besides the wingfoil there are two Seabobs, so two guests can be on them together, a single SUP board, a wakeboard to tow behind her 80hp tender, and fishing and snorkelling gear, so the water below the surface is open to guests as well as the surface itself.

Charter notes

Vivi suits a family or a group of friends, and she is offered by the week and for a three-day hire, so a party that cannot spare a full week still gets three days of her islands and her toys.
