Mistral Luxury Catamaran

Each of the five cabins Sunreef Yachts built into Mistral has a queen bed, so the ten guests who sleep aboard all do so two to a queen. She was delivered in 2024.

On deck

The swim platform on this 60ft (18m) luxury catamaran puts the sea a step down from the deck, so swimmers come and go from the water without a climb over the side.

Water toys

Six toys travel with her, and the four SUP boards among them mean four paddlers can set off at the same time. A kayak comes too, a wakeboard and a towable tube are there for being pulled along behind at speed, and snorkelling gear opens up whatever lies under the surface. Her 14ft tender carries the party ashore.

Where she cruises

Bequia, in the Grenadines, is her home port, and Tortola is her second base, so a party can join her at either. She also works the British Virgin Islands and the USVI. Antigua and Barbuda, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St Lucia and Grenada complete her Caribbean grounds beyond the Grenadines, so a group choosing where to anchor has far more than a single stretch of coast to pick from.

Accommodation and crew

Two crew run Mistral and look after the party. Air conditioning keeps the cabins cool, and Wi-Fi reaches aboard, so the party stays in touch while she is away from a marina.

Comfort under way

Under way she settles at 8 knots and can make 12, so moving between anchorages is an unhurried business rather than a dash, and her calendar is fullest in December and on through January, February and March.

Charter notes

Mistral suits two couples or a family on a charter, and her hire runs by the week or for a shorter stay. By day she can carry twelve, so the party need not stop at those who sleep aboard.
