About Liquid Zen

Fishing tackle is part of her standard kit, so guests aboard Liquid Zen can drop a line without bringing anything of their own. She came from Lagoon in 2022, a 52ft (16m) sailing catamaran.

Water toys

Two stand-up paddleboards put two people on the water at the same time, a wakeboard and a towable tube are there for being pulled along, and snorkelling gear opens up what lies below the surface – six toys in all, with a 13ft tender for runs ashore.

Where she cruises

St John in the USVI is Liquid Zen's home port, and her grounds take in the USVI, the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, three areas to choose between rather than a single stretch of coast.

Accommodation and crew

Four air-conditioned cabins sleep eight guests overnight, and by day she can carry twelve. The berths run to four queens and a twin. Two crew sail her and look after everyone aboard, and Wi-Fi reaches through the boat, which means lying at anchor does not put anyone out of contact.

Comfort under way

Under sail she settles at 8 knots with 12 in hand, an unhurried pace between anchorages, and December through to March are her busiest months.

On deck

The swim platform brings the sea a step down instead of a jump, and climbing back out after a swim asks nothing of anyone.

Charter notes

Liquid Zen suits a family or a group of friends travelling together, and alongside a full week she takes a three-day charter, so a shorter rental aboard her works too.
