G30 Sailing Catamaran

Fishing tackle and snorkelling gear both travel aboard G30, a 51ft (16m) Fountaine Pajot sailing catamaran delivered in 2022, so what lies under the surface matters as much as what sits on deck.

Comfort under way

She sails at 8 knots and holds 12 at her quickest, and her two hulls keep her flat rather than heeled, so walking about while she is sailing stays easy.

On deck

Her swim platform turns a swim into a short step off the boat and an easy climb back aboard.

Water toys

A 12ft Highfield tender takes guests ashore, two paddleboards mean two can set off across the water at the same time, and a towable tube is there for anyone who wants to be pulled along behind.

Where she cruises

G30 has her home port at St Croix in the USVI, and her sailing takes in the wider USVI, the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, which gives her guests three cruising areas to choose between rather than a single stretch of coast.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins, each with a queen bed, sleep eight guests, all of them air conditioned, and WiFi runs aboard so the world ashore stays reachable. A crew of two runs her.

Charter notes

G30 suits a family or a group of friends, her busiest months being December and January through March, and three-day charters make a shorter hire possible. Twelve can be aboard when she is out for the day, more than sleep aboard overnight.
