Era Luxury Catamaran

Two e-foils travel with Era as an optional extra, and they set the tone for a toy locker that is the first thing to understand about this 67ft (21m) Fountaine Pajot luxury catamaran, built in 2024.

Water toys

Her tender is 5 m long with a 50 hp engine, enough to pull the wakeboard and the towable donut and to run the party ashore. Two e-foils mean two riders can be up on the foils at once, the sea scooter pulls a single swimmer along beneath the surface, and the double kayak takes two paddlers while the two paddleboards take two more standing. An inflatable swimming platform goes over the side to give swimmers a place to haul out and a step back into the water.

Where she cruises

Era keeps her home port at Mallorca, in Spain, and cruises Spain's Balearic waters, with Ibiza among the places she reaches and July and August at the peak of her charter year.

Accommodation and crew

Four en-suite cabins sleep eight guests, a king bed in the master and a queen in each of the other three, and by day she can carry twelve. A crew of three runs her for the eight who sleep aboard.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 9 knots and reaches 12, her engines drawing 15 litres of fuel an hour, and although she carries no stabilisers, a beam of 32.3ft gives her steadiness and the room on deck that goes with it.

On deck

The jacuzzi sits in the forward lounge with an open view of the sea, the flybridge is broad and open to the view all round, and speakers up there as well as inside mean the music follows the party around her. Sunbathing spaces come in more than a single spot, a swim platform puts guests straight into the water, and the open-plan interior is lit through with daylight, with a smart TV in the saloon.

Charter notes

Era is offered for hire by the week or for three days and suits a family or a group of friends who want the water to be the centre of things, and with snorkelling gear for twelve nobody in a full day party has to wait for a mask.
