Sunrise Superyacht
About Sunrise
A 28ft Axopar is the main tender aboard Sunrise, and RIB tenders of 18ft and 13ft back it up, so a run ashore need not wait for a single boat to come back. Six crew look after her twelve guests, which works out at a crew member for every two people sleeping aboard. Yildiz delivered her in 2020 as a 142ft (43m) superyacht.
Where she cruises
Bodrum, in Turkey, is her home port, and the coasts Sunrise works run through Turkey, Greece, Montenegro and Croatia, four countries whose shorelines are all within her reach rather than a fixed route she repeats.
Accommodation and crew
Five cabins sleep twelve; once the sun is up eighteen may be aboard her, room for more than the party who spend the night, and July and August are the two months that count as her peak.
Comfort under way
Roll is damped both when she is stopped and when she is moving, because her stabilisers are the zero-speed type as much as the under-way type, and that keeps a cabin level at anchor as it is on passage. Sunrise makes her passages at 10 knots with 14 knots available when a longer leg calls for it, and her fuel use runs to 350 litres an hour.
On deck
A swim platform puts the sea a single step down from her deck, so a swim begins straight from the yacht.
Water toys
Eleven toys travel with her. Water skis, a wakeboard and a towable tube are pulled behind a tender, a single SUP board and a kayak are paddled rather than towed, and a floating mat gives a place to lie on the water itself. Snorkelling gear and fishing gear are carried as well.
Charter notes
Sunrise suits two couples sharing her, or a family, and she is for hire by the week. A group with divers in it gets the most from her: scuba diving is part of what she carries, so the dives are made from the yacht itself and belong to the charter week rather than to an outing.
