Ivy Motor Yacht

A refit in 2024 brought this 2006 Sunseeker motor yacht up to date, and at 82ft (25m) Ivy is the longest of the five yachts based at her home port.

On deck

Her swim platform makes getting into the water and back out again straightforward, and speakers on deck keep the music outside with you.

Water toys

Five toys travel with her: a SUP, a large floating mat and floating noodles for time in the water, snorkelling gear for a look below the surface, and fishing tackle for anyone who would rather hold a rod. The tender runs people ashore.

Where she cruises

Ivy keeps her home port at Fajardo, and she cruises Puerto Rico year-round, so the week begins and ends on the same coast.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight overnight – a king, a queen, a twin and a bunk cabin, all air-conditioned – and by day she takes twelve, so more can come along than stay the night. Three crew run her.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 26 knots and has 35 in reserve, so covering distance takes little out of the day.

Charter notes

Ivy suits a family or a group of friends in Puerto Rico, and she goes out by the week, for three days, or for a day or half a day, with January to March and December her busiest months, so a short hire is as straightforward as a full week aboard.
