Lusia M Superyacht

Scuba diving equipment travels aboard Lusia M along with snorkelling and fishing gear, and a crew of eight looks after her ten guests, so there are nearly as many crew as guests and divers find their kit already on board. She is a 135ft (41m) Sunseeker superyacht, built in 2013 and refitted in 2015, with a GRP hull and superstructure.

On deck

The sundeck carries the deck jacuzzi, a bar and a large U-shaped sofa with a table for eating outdoors, so a meal in the open air and the jacuzzi share the same deck. The upper deck has a lounge of its own with a flat screen and a chess table, and further aft an alfresco dining table with a clear view out to sea. Two retractable balconies fold out from the main saloon and open the room to the air outside; the saloon itself has a settee and a full entertainment system, and the interior throughout is finished in earth-toned fabrics, wood and marble.

Water toys

Two Seadoo jet skis each seat two, so a rider can take a passenger, and there are two paddleboards as well. A wakeboard and a towable donut are pulled behind, and the swim platform gives a low step into the sea for anyone going in without a toy at all.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Cannes, in France, and from there Lusia M works the coasts of France, Monaco and Italy, three countries reached from a single base.

Accommodation and crew

Ten guests sleep aboard in five staterooms. The master suite has a king bed, the two double cabins have queens, and the two twin cabins convert to doubles, with a pair of pullman berths on top of that. Every stateroom can therefore be made up as a double, which is what lets her take two couples as easily as a family.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers work at zero speed as well as under way, so the roll is cut down whether she is lying at anchor or making a passage. Two MTU engines push her planing hull along at 15 knots, with 20 in hand, and the two months at the top of her season are July and August.

Charter notes

Lusia M suits a family or two couples with divers among them, and she is offered for charter by the week, with three days as the shortest hire. By day she can carry twelve, so the party can be larger by day than it is overnight.
