Double D Motor Yacht
About Double D
Sunseeker drew both the exterior and the interior of Double D, a 108ft (33m) motor yacht built in 2007 and refitted in 2018, so the shape of her outside and the rooms within her come from the same hand.
Water toys
Eight toys travel with her. A Seadoo jet ski puts a rider out on the water alone, SUP boards cover the slower kind of paddling, and a towable tube, a wakeboard and a kneeboard between them handle anything pulled along behind. A trampoline and further inflatables float in the water alongside, snorkelling gear is aboard for time spent below the surface, and her beach tender carries people ashore.
Where she cruises
Double D's home port is Sandy Ground in Anguilla. Anguilla itself, St Martin and St Barths lie within her cruising range, as do the British Virgin Islands and the USVI, five separate grounds to move between rather than a single coast to follow.
Accommodation and crew
Four cabins sleep eight guests, and four crew run her, which works out at a crew member for every pair of guests on board.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 30 knots and has 40 in hand, shortening the water between one island and the next; December, January, February and March are her busiest months.
Charter notes
She suits a family, or friends travelling together, and she works by the week. By day she can have twelve people aboard, more than stay the night, so a wider group can join her on the water.
