Moka Superyacht
About Moka
The exterior of Moka is the work of Francesco Paszkowski, and her interior is by Sanlorenzo, the yard that built her in 2015, so the rooms a guest lives in for a week were drawn by the same people who shaped the hull around them. She is a 138ft (42m) superyacht, and that interior takes in a main saloon with a dining area, a master stateroom with its own bathroom, and guest cabins with theirs.
Where she cruises
Mallorca in Spain is her home port, and she operates in Spain, France and Italy. Within that range lie the Balearic Islands, Barcelona and the Costa Brava, then Corsica and the French Riviera. On the Italian side she reaches the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, the Amalfi Coast with Capri, and the Aeolian Islands. The island groups give her stops with sea on every side, and the coasts give her a shoreline to follow.
Accommodation and crew
Her five cabins hold ten guests overnight – a king bed, three doubles and a twin cabin – and nine crew look after them, with July and August her high season, which means the ten of you are attended by nine people for the whole stay.
Comfort under way
She cruises at 16 knots and has 23 knots available when a passage needs shortening, and her stabilisers are active both under way and once she has stopped, which keeps the roll down in a cabin at anchor as much as at speed.
On deck
A deck jacuzzi and an infinity pool give two ways to be in water without leaving her, the beach club and the swim platform bring guests down to the level of the sea itself, and a gym means a training routine need not stop for the week.
Water toys
Her water slide runs off her into the sea, and the rest of her toys fill in around it. Two jet skis carry two riders and three Seabobs three; SUP boards and a kayak are for moving over the water under your own effort, water skis, a wakeboard and towables for being pulled behind, and a floating island and snorkelling gear for staying in the water beside her. An Axopar chase tender takes guests ashore.
Charter notes
Moka suits two couples or a family of up to ten, she is taken for a full week's charter or a three-day hire, and by day she can have twelve people aboard, so a party can grow beyond those who sleep in her cabins.
