Daddy Motor Yacht

Daddy carried the name Bad Romance IV before her present one, and she was refitted in 2023; at 108ft (33m), she is a Sanlorenzo built in 2006.

Accommodation and crew

Four air-conditioned cabins sleep eight guests overnight, a king, two queens and a twin between them, and for a day on the water this motor yacht can take twelve. Five crew run her for those eight guests, so help is close at hand through the day.

Comfort under way

Her stabilisers keep working while she is moving and not only when she is lying still, which leaves less roll to notice. She cruises at 12 knots with 18 available at the top end, and uses 190 litres an hour.

On deck

A swim platform at water level means getting into the sea, and back out again, is a step rather than a climb.

Water toys

Nine toys come with her: water skis, a wakeboard and a towable banana and donut for anyone who likes being pulled along behind, a jet ski for a rider who wants their own speed, and a kayak and a windsurfer for quieter ways around a bay, with inflatables and snorkelling gear as well. A 13ft tender covers the runs ashore.

Where she cruises

Daddy's home port is Harbour Island in the Bahamas, and the Bahamas is the extent of her cruising, her peak months being December and then January through March.

Charter notes

Daddy suits a family or a group of friends, and a charter with her need not run a full week: shorter bookings, down to a single day's hire, are possible too, so the time aboard fits the days the group has.
