Lux Ocean Motor Yacht

Lux Ocean came through a refit in 2023, and her accommodation divides evenly: four cabins, two of them with queen beds and two with twins, sleeping eight guests. She is a 75ft (23m) Princess motor yacht.

Where she cruises

Male, in the Maldives, is home port for Lux Ocean, and she works both Maldives waters and the Seychelles.

Accommodation and crew

A crew of three looks after the eight guests who sleep aboard, and twelve can be on board for a day out on the water, four more than she has beds for.

Comfort under way

Zero-speed stabilisers do their work with the boat stopped as well as moving, so there is less roll at anchor; she cruises at 18 knots and has 28 knots in hand when there is water to cover.

On deck

Her swim platform makes the sea easy to get into and easier still to climb back out of.

Water toys

A 13ft tender takes the party ashore, and for the time at anchor there is a jet ski, a wakeboard and two SUP boards, so a pair can paddle out together; snorkelling and fishing gear travel with her as well.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends who want the boat to themselves, and she is hired by the week, over three days or for a single day – January to March and December are her busiest months – so a short break aboard works as readily as a full charter week.
