S72 Motor Yacht

Refitted in 2022, S72 has an open-plan interior lit by large windows, so the living area stays bright rather than boxed in. Princess built her in 2016, a motor yacht of 72ft (22m).

Comfort under way

She cruises at 14 knots with 18 available, which puts a bay further along within reach without turning the move into a long passage.

On deck

The aft deck is divided between a sunbathing area and a dining area, and a barbecue means a meal can be cooked on board. A swim platform turns the step from deck to sea into an easy one, and karaoke aboard lets a group make its own entertainment.

Water toys

A 13ft tender covers the trips ashore, while a floating mat and swimming noodles give swimmers something to lie on and hold on to alongside her.

Where she cruises

S72 has her home port at Central in Hong Kong, and she works Hong Kong waters, Tai Long Wan among the places she can run out to; her busiest months are April and May, October and November.

Accommodation and crew

Three cabins sleep six guests, two of them with a double bed and the third a twin, and the cabins are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi aboard. A captain and a deckhand run her, two hands for six guests, and by day she can carry 12.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends more interested in swimming and eating outdoors than in covering distance. She takes day charters and half-day hires, so a group can match her to the hours they have.
