Blue M Motor Yacht

Seabobs come aboard Blue M, a 70ft (21m) motor yacht built by Prestige Yachts in 2016 and given a full refit in 2022.

Comfort under way

A Seakeeper stabiliser holds her steady with the engines running and again once she has stopped, which keeps the motion gentle in either state. She cruises at 25 knots and will run to 30, and a watermaker and generator let her stay out at anchor instead of returning for water and power.

On deck

The swim platform gives an easy way into the sea and an easier way back up, while air conditioning cools the interior and Wi-Fi keeps the group in touch.

Water toys

Seven toys travel with her. The 15ft tender takes the group ashore, and a wakeboard, water skis and a kneeboard are aboard for towing behind it, with inflatable toys and snorkelling gear for time spent in the water alongside.

Where she cruises

The home port of Blue M is Exuma, in the Bahamas, and she works both the Bahamas and Spain. A second base at Mallorca opens up the Balearics, with Minorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera among the islands she can make for.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep eight, two of them with king beds and two with twins, and the two crew, a captain and a stewardess, look after the boat and the guests between them through a year-round season that peaks in January, February, March, July, August and December.

Charter notes

She suits a family or a group of friends taking her by the week. Eight sleep aboard and twelve can be with her for a day on the water, so there is room to bring others along without anyone giving up a bed.
