Scratch Superyacht

Scratch cruises at 30 knots and will push on to 35, so the water between islands takes little out of a day. Andrea Bacigalupo shaped her exterior and Stefano Righini her interior, and this 92ft (28m) Overmarine superyacht was launched in 2004, refitted in 2023, and spent her earlier years under the name Electra's.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep nine guests, with a crew of three running the boat around them. The cabins are air-conditioned, and with Wi-Fi and satellite television aboard nobody has to go ashore to keep up with home.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers damp her roll both on the move and at rest, which means she stays settled once the anchor is down as well as when she is making her cruising pace.

Water toys

A Williams Turbojet 385 tender takes guests ashore, and the kit aboard runs to a Wave Runner, SUP boards, water skis, a wakeboard, inflatable toys and snorkelling gear, so the water alongside can mean a tow behind the tender, a quiet paddle or a look below the surface.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Colombier in St Barths, and she works the waters of St Barths, Anguilla and St Martin, three landfalls with their own anchorages to choose between.

Charter notes

Scratch makes a straightforward hire for two couples travelling together or for a family, her busiest months falling in December, January, February and March. By day her capacity rises to 12, so a larger group can come aboard without anyone being left behind.
