Belle Motor Yacht

Stabilisers hold Belle steady under way and again at zero speed, and a 2023 refit brought her up to date; the practical result is less roll, moving or stopped. She is a 98ft (30m) Moonen motor yacht from 2016, with her home port in Australia.

Water toys

Her toys run from a Fliteboard and an iAqua to a pair of SUP boards, so two people can paddle out at the same time, along with water skis, a wakeboard, a lily pad and an inflatable pool that float alongside her, and snorkelling gear for anyone who would rather look down than ride. A beach tender carries guests ashore.

Where she cruises

Belle keeps her home port in the Whitsundays and cruises Australia through the year, with December, January and February her peak months.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins sleep ten guests overnight, and by day she can take as many as 36 aboard. Five crew run her, a crew member for every two guests staying the night, and the cabins are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi reaching through the yacht.

Comfort under way

She cruises at 11 knots and tops out at 13 – a steady pace rather than a hurried one.

Charter notes

Belle suits a family, or two couples travelling together, who want the boat run for them. Beyond the week she also takes charters of three days, a day or a half day, which lets a much larger party come aboard for time on the water; taken for a week's hire, she leaves the ten who sleep aboard with the whole yacht and her crew.
