Firefly Motor Yacht

Twelve guests can be aboard Firefly for a day on the water, and eight of them stay the night, so the party can be larger than the cabins allow. She is a 91ft (28m) Mulder motor yacht, built in 2015, and she carries a gym.

Accommodation and crew

Four cabins take the overnight guests, in a king, a queen, double and twin berths. Her crew of four works out at a crew member to each pair staying the night, and air conditioning and Wi-Fi run throughout.

Comfort under way

Stabilisers hold her steady under way as well as at rest, which means less roll. She cruises at 13 knots, reaches 15 at the top end, and uses 150 litres an hour.

On deck

Her swim platform sits level with the sea, so swimming is a step down rather than a climb.

Water toys

Firefly's 17ft tender goes ashore and tows the wakeboard, water skis and inflatable towables behind it. Two Seabobs and two paddleboards each put a pair on the water at the same time, a jet ski is aboard, and there is gear for snorkelling and for fishing.

Where she cruises

Valletta is her home port in Malta, and her cruising covers Malta, Italy and Greece.

Charter notes

She suits a family or friends travelling together, with bookings running to a week, to three days, or to a day's hire, her busiest months being July and August.
