Veni Vidi Vici Superyacht

Stefano Righini drew the lines of Veni Vidi Vici, and they carry her to 38 knots at full speed. Maxine Tissenbaum designed the interior in a pale beach-club style, and all of it was renewed in 2019 with new flooring, furniture and soft furnishings while she also took a full repaint. She is a 131ft (40m) Mangusta superyacht from 2006.

Where she cruises

Her home port is Monte Carlo in Monaco, and she cruises Monaco, France, Italy and Greece, four coastlines with harbour towns to call at and bays to anchor in.

Accommodation and crew

Five en-suite cabins sleep ten guests overnight in two king beds, two queens and a twin, and twelve can be aboard through the day. The master takes the full width of her beam, three more cabins have double beds, and the twin is fitted with a bunk bed and a Pullman berth that can be made up when wanted. Seven crew look after them, July and August being the height of her year, so there are seven people working for a party of ten.

Comfort under way

Her hull and superstructure are built in GRP, and she holds a cruising speed of 29 knots, so the distance between two harbours costs her little time. The stabilisers are of the zero-speed type: they carry on working once she has stopped, and she rolls less at anchor for it.

On deck

The saloon roof slides back, so the main living room can be opened to the sky. The foredeck is laid out for sunbathing and for dining, the aft deck carries a further sunbathing area, and her beach club and swim platform give a direct way down into the water.

Water toys

A 14ft RIB tender runs guests to the beach and pulls a skier or a wakeboarder behind it. Two Seadoo Spark jet skis, one of them the Trixx, put two riders on the water at the same time, two Seabob F5S travel with her, inflatable toys and a single paddleboard complete the set, and twelve sets of snorkelling gear cover every guest she can have aboard by day.

Charter notes

Veni Vidi Vici charters by the week, and a week's hire suits two couples, each with a king bed to themselves, or a larger family party. Her draft of 4ft lets her anchor close in to a shore.
